Business Analyst
Permanent Employee, Full-time, Remote, CEST Shift
Transition to Office: Munich, Germany
Annual Net Salary: Up to €65,000
Job Summary:
We’re seeking a data-driven Business Analyst to be the analytical backbone for EMEA—connecting performance data to clear actions across markets. You’ll build dashboards, forecast revenue and demand, run competitive and market analyses, and translate insights into recommendations for Marketing, Operations, Finance, and Commercial teams. You’ll also improve processes, steward data quality, and support tool integrations across the e-commerce stack.
Responsibilities:
Build and maintain KPI dashboards and reports (revenue, ROAS, CAC, AOV, retention) and support weekly/monthly/quarterly business reviews with narrative insights.
Partner with Finance/Operations/Commercial to produce forecasts, scenario models, and budget inputs; align demand, capacity, and inventory strategies.
Conduct market research and competitive benchmarking; translate consumer and category insights into recommendations and lightweight, AI-assisted analytic tools.
Gather requirements, document user stories, and align stakeholders on priorities for new tools, reports, and process improvements.
Map/optimize core processes (order flow, fulfillment, returns, CX), recommend automation, and drive parity in analytics across markets.
Act as business–tech bridge for integrations (Shopify, ERP, CRM, ads/analytics); validate data flows, participate in UAT, and troubleshoot pipelines.
Support A/B testing design and analysis; communicate results and next steps.
Establish data governance checks, definitions, and quality controls; monitor anomalies and ensure reporting consistency.
Deliver ad-hoc deep dives, “what-if” models, and executive-ready insights; lead change management/training to increase data literacy.
Requirements:
3–5 years in business analysis, strategy, FP&A, or e-commerce analytics (consumer/DTC preferred).
Strong proficiency with Excel/Google Sheets and BI tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau, Power BI); comfortable with large datasets and e-commerce platforms (Shopify, GA4, Meta Ads Manager).
Exceptional analytical rigor and attention to detail; able to turn complex data into clear, actionable storytelling for technical and non-technical audiences.
Collaborative self-starter who can manage multiple priorities and drive stakeholder alignment across Marketing, Operations, Product, Finance, and IT.
