COO Execution Partner

Permanent Employee, Full-time, Remote, EST Shift

Job Summary:

We’re hiring a COO Execution Partner to own day-to-day cross-functional execution in a fast-moving, scaling company. This is not a project manager role. You will work directly with senior leadership to translate priorities into clear next actions, chase owners and deadlines, unblock issues, and close loops across the business.

This role is designed for someone who thrives in ambiguity, values momentum over formal process, and takes personal responsibility for ensuring that important work actually gets done. You will operate hands-on in the weeds, creating clarity where none exists and building only the minimum structure needed to keep execution moving.

You will live inside ClickUp daily as an operating system for execution—not as a reporting or governance tool.

Responsibilities:

  • Own cross-functional execution week to week, ensuring priorities turn into real movement.

  • Translate leadership goals and changing priorities into clear tasks, owners, deadlines, and immediate next actions.

  • Relentlessly follow up on commitments, chase blockers, escalate risks early, and personally ensure nothing drops.

  • Use ClickUp daily to manage tasks, dependencies, and follow-ups; keep it practical, current, and execution-focused.

  • Build and maintain lightweight structure (lists, templates, automations) only where it improves speed and accountability.

  • Run the operating rhythm: weekly priority reviews, decision tracking, owner assignment, and follow-through.

  • Create clarity when direction is incomplete by proposing next steps and sequencing work without waiting for perfect information.

  • Reduce noise for leadership by surfacing true execution gaps, unresolved decisions, and priority conflicts.

  • Document simple SOPs and workflows as needed, while continuing to execute—not as a prerequisite to action.

  • Continuously improve execution by tightening handoffs, reducing friction, and learning quickly from misses.

Requirements:

  • 4+ years owning execution in small, fast-moving companies or startups (typically 10–50 people).

  • Experience acting as a right-hand to a founder, COO, or senior operator.

  • Deep, hands-on daily use of ClickUp (or similar tools like Asana/Monday) to drive execution—not just implement systems.

  • Strong bias toward action and follow-up; comfortable operating without full information.

  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and persistent; known for closing loops and preventing dropped balls.

  • Clear, confident communicator who can push execution forward without formal authority or constant direction.

  • Comfortable in a hands-on senior individual contributor or light people leader role.

  • Nice to have: experience in e-commerce or other execution-heavy environments.
