Digital Asset Manager
Permanent Employee, Full-time, Remote, PST Shift
Monthly Net Salary: ₱50,000 to ₱70,000
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Digital Asset Manager to take ownership of our digital asset library and ensure seamless access to high-quality brand content. This role requires expertise in digital asset management systems, metadata tagging, and rights tracking, with a strong understanding of creative workflows and brand compliance. You’ll be instrumental in optimizing content distribution, maintaining asset integrity, and supporting cross-functional teams across marketing, product, legal, and design.
Responsibilities:
Digital Asset Management:
Implement metadata standards, taxonomy structures, and naming conventions for efficient asset searchability and version control.
Manage the ingestion, storage, categorization, and retrieval of digital assets (imagery, logos, design files, videos, etc.).
Track asset usage rights, expiration dates, and licensing terms in coordination with Legal and Licensing teams.
Conduct regular audits to archive or purge outdated content and maintain system cleanliness.
Asset Distribution & Access Control:
Manage user roles and permissions within the DAM system, ensuring the right access levels for internal teams and external partners.
Fulfill asset requests efficiently while ensuring compliance with brand standards and licensing agreements.
Facilitate third-party access and track downloads to ensure consistent and secure content distribution.
Workflow Optimization & Collaboration:
Collaborate with Creative, Marketing, and Product Development teams to streamline asset intake and publishing workflows.
Train and support internal users on DAM best practices and system functionalities.
Coordinate with IT to troubleshoot issues and integrate DAM with tools such as Adobe Creative Cloud, Box, or project management systems.
Brand Consistency & Compliance:
Ensure all uploaded assets meet brand guidelines and maintain visual quality standards.
Monitor the use of assets across digital, print, and e-commerce platforms to ensure compliance and consistency.
Assist in maintaining and updating brand documentation and usage guides for internal and external stakeholders.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Digital Media, Library Sciences, Marketing, Information Management, or a related field.
3+ years of experience in digital asset management, preferably in a creative, e-commerce, or consumer brand environment.
Proficiency in Extensis Portfolio and Box is required; experience with other DAM systems (e.g., Bynder, Widen, Adobe Experience Manager, Canto) is a plus.
Strong understanding of file formats, resolution requirements, and metadata schemas.
Familiarity with copyright, licensing, and intellectual property principles.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Experience working with highly visual, design-driven brands.
Knowledge of creative production workflows (photography, graphic design, video).
Basic understanding of SEO and digital marketing asset requirements.
