Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced EDI Implementation Specialist to join our team. This role is critical for ensuring seamless integration of Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) processes, with a particular focus on SPS Commerce and Plex.com ERP systems. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading the implementation and ongoing management of EDI systems, ensuring efficient communication and transaction processes with our partners.

Responsibilities:

  • EDI Implementation: Lead the implementation and integration of EDI processes to ensure smooth communication between our systems and our partners, including retailers, suppliers, and logistics providers.

  • SPS Commerce Expertise: Utilize deep understanding of SPS Commerce to manage and configure EDI transactions, troubleshoot issues, and ensure compliance with trading partner requirements.

  • ERP Integration: Leverage expertise in Plex.com ERP to integrate EDI solutions within the company’s existing ERP framework, optimizing processes for efficiency and accuracy.

  • Project Management: Coordinate and manage EDI implementation projects from inception to completion, including planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.

  • Troubleshooting & Support: Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for EDI-related issues, collaborating closely with IT and other departments to resolve problems quickly and effectively.

  • Documentation & Training: Create and maintain detailed documentation of EDI processes, configurations, and workflows. Train internal teams on EDI usage and best practices.

  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance EDI processes, improve data accuracy, and streamline operations across the supply chain.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in EDI implementation, specifically with SPS Commerce and Plex.com ERP in a manufacturing or food production environment.

  • Strong understanding of EDI standards (e.g., ANSI X12, EDIFACT), with in-depth knowledge of SPS Commerce and Plex.com ERP system functionalities.

  • Ability to analyze complex data and processes, identifying issues and implementing effective solutions.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, capable of conveying technical information to non-technical stakeholders.

  • Strong problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.

  • Proven track record of managing and delivering successful EDI projects on time and within budget.

  • Meticulous attention to detail to ensure data accuracy and process efficiency.

  • Strong focus on Plex.com; must be an expert in Plex.com and SPS Commerce.
