IT Support Specialist

Permanent Employee, Full-time, Remote, PST Shift
Monthly Net Salary: ₱30,000 to ₱50,000

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable IT Support Specialist to provide day-to-day technical assistance across a remote and collaborative work environment. This role will support team members in resolving hardware, software, and connectivity issues, while ensuring systems and devices remain secure, functional, and aligned with company protocols. The ideal candidate has strong communication skills, a proactive mindset, and experience supporting distributed teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide timely technical support for software, hardware, and connectivity issues across the organization

  • Troubleshoot and resolve problems related to laptops, printers, peripherals, cloud services, and internet access

  • Maintain data security and confidentiality in accordance with applicable industry regulations and company protocols (e.g., HIPAA, data protection standards)

  • Set up and configure new employee devices, user accounts, and access permissions

  • Maintain an organized system for tracking technical issues and resolutions

  • Assist team members with navigating common software and collaboration tools

  • Monitor system performance, flag security concerns, and escalate as needed

  • Coordinate with external vendors or service providers for escalated technical issues

  • Offer clear and user-friendly guidance to non-technical team members

Requirements:

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience)

  • 2+ years of experience in an IT support or helpdesk role

  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot a wide range of technical issues

  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts in a clear and approachable manner

  • Experience supporting remote teams and resolving issues virtually

  • Highly organized and able to prioritize tasks effectively

  • Familiarity with cloud-based file sharing, email platforms, video conferencing, and security best practices

  • Ability to work independently and handle support requests in a timely manner
