Product Merchandising Data Associate

Monthly Net Salary: ₱40,000 to ₱60,000
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly detail-oriented and process-driven Product Merchandising Data Associate to support the merchandising team by maintaining data integrity, executing data entry tasks, and conducting foundational product analytics. This role plays a critical part in ensuring Centric functions as the single source of truth for product data. The ideal candidate is analytical, organized, and passionate about clean data and operational excellence to support product storytelling and decision-making.
Responsibilities:
Product Data Management & Centric System Ownership
Own and manage data input and maintenance within Centric, ensuring product attributes, fabric content, pricing, sizing, color codes, and style information are accurately entered.
Partner with IT to optimize Centric configuration, resolve data integrity issues, and uphold system standards aligned with company-wide processes.
Maintain comprehensive documentation and version control of product data changes across seasons, ensuring historical traceability.
Support governance of product data fields and definitions, contributing to the evolution of internal product taxonomy.
Baseline Merchandising Analytics
Analyze assortment efficiency by product attributes (e.g., fabric, fit, style, color) to identify patterns and guide future merchandising strategies.
Prepare summary reports on product performance, highlighting key insights across categories using Excel, Looker, and Centric data exports.
Support ad hoc product reporting and recurring merchandising metrics.
Sample & Swatch Coordination
Assist in coordinating sample and swatch needs for internal reviews, ensuring materials are tracked and aligned with data inputs in Centric.
Support preparation of physical and digital samples, as well as internal visual line plans.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Support
Work cross-functionally with design, IT, marketing, and sales to ensure product data is accurately shared and aligned across departments.
Collaborate with the product and merchandising teams to support seasonal go-to-market timelines through timely data entry and Centric updates.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Merchandising, Business, Information Systems, or a related field.
1-3 years of experience in product merchandising, data management, or retail operations.
Familiarity with PLM systems—Centric experience strongly preferred.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data cleaning).
Experience using business intelligence tools such as Looker or Tableau is a plus.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate cross-functionally.
Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
Passion for retail, merchandising, or product lifecycle management is a plus.
