Walmart Catalog Manager
Permanent Employee, Full-time, Remote, EST Shift
Monthly Net Salary: Up to $1,800
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Walmart Catalog Manager to own end-to-end catalog health, listing accuracy, and performance on Walmart Marketplace, with secondary responsibility across select non-Amazon channels. This role is heavily Walmart-focused—you will manage and optimize listings, ensure attribute and content compliance, troubleshoot catalog issues, and drive visibility, conversion, and buy box performance on Walmart.
You will also support catalogs on Shopify, Target, eBay, Temu, and Shein, with future expansion into Home Depot and Lowe’s. Experience with Amazon Seller Central is preferred, as you will collaborate with Amazon-focused teams to maintain data consistency and aligned catalog structures across channels.
This role is ideal for a detail-obsessed, execution-focused operator who proactively identifies and fixes catalog issues, understands Walmart’s rules and nuances, and drives measurable marketplace performance—not just maintenance.
Responsibilities:
Walmart-First Catalog Management
Own and manage product listings on Walmart Marketplace, ensuring high catalog quality, content score optimization, and full compliance with Walmart policies.
Maintain accurate titles, bullets, descriptions, images, variations, backend attributes, categorization, SEO fields, and compliance requirements.
Execute routine Walmart catalog audits to identify and resolve issues related to content, attributes, item setup, and suppression risks.
Manage bulk uploads and updates using Walmart templates, spreadsheets, and feed-based systems.
Multi-Marketplace Catalog Support
Manage and optimize listings on Shopify, Target, eBay, Temu, and Shein, following platform-specific rules and content guidelines.
Support future marketplace expansion into Home Depot and Lowe’s as needed.
Align catalog structure, variation logic, and core data with Amazon listings when required for cross-channel consistency.
Order & Customer Service Operations
Manage order workflows across marketplaces, including Amazon Multi-Channel Fulfillment (MCF) where applicable.
Resolve shipment issues, cancellations, returns, late deliveries, and inventory discrepancies in coordination with operations and warehouse teams.
Respond to marketplace customer messages with accuracy, professionalism, and platform-appropriate tone.
Troubleshoot order-related and listing-related issues impacting customer experience or performance.
Performance, Optimization & Insights
Track Walmart-specific performance metrics including listing visibility, pricing competitiveness, buy box performance, and conversion.
Identify underperforming SKUs and execute optimization strategies (content improvements, SEO adjustments, pricing alignment, image updates).
Partner with creative and copy teams to improve PDP quality, images, and search relevance.
Identify catalog gaps, missed placements, and opportunities for assortment or attribute expansion on Walmart.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work closely with design teams to improve Walmart images and content assets.
Coordinate with inventory, operations, and warehouse teams on new SKU setup, fulfillment accuracy, and data flow.
Collaborate with Amazon catalog counterparts to ensure standardized, aligned product data across platforms.
Maintain clean, consistent, and reliable product data across all sales channels.
Requirements:
Hands-on catalog management experience on Walmart and Shopify (mandatory).
Experience with Target, eBay, Temu, or Shein (strong preference).
Experience with Amazon Seller Central and MCF (preferred).
Experience with Home Depot or Lowe’s portals or feed-based uploads (plus).
Knowledge of marketplace SEO, attribute mapping, template-based uploads, and feed troubleshooting.
Experience managing fulfillment issues, returns, cancellations, and basic customer service cases.
Strong Excel/Sheets skills including VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, pivot tables, and data normalization.
Proven ability to manage large catalogs with accuracy and speed.
Strong communication skills; organized, analytical, proactive, and self-directed.
Ability to commit to a single full-time role.
