Job Summary:
We’re seeking a seasoned Director of Supply Chain to lead and optimize all aspects of procurement, logistics, inventory, and fulfillment. This role is crucial to ensuring cost-effective, efficient, and scalable supply chain operations that meet high service-level expectations across all sales channels. The ideal candidate combines strategic leadership with operational execution and thrives in a fast-paced environment with multi-stakeholder coordination.
Responsibilities:
Oversee end-to-end supply chain operations, including procurement, logistics, inventory control, and fulfillment.
Develop and implement supply chain strategies that support business growth, reduce costs, and improve efficiency.
Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, manufacturers, freight providers, and internal stakeholders.
Monitor supply chain KPIs and implement continuous improvements to drive performance, reliability, and accuracy.
Ensure compliance with domestic transportation and distribution regulations.
Manage demand planning, procurement forecasting, and lead-time optimization.
Evaluate and implement systems, tools, and process enhancements to support operational scale.
Lead supply chain risk mitigation efforts, including contingency planning and supplier diversification.
Requirements:
5+ years of progressive supply chain management experience, ideally in a multi-channel or consumer products environment.
Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams and drive supply chain strategy.
Strong knowledge of logistics, procurement, inventory systems, and domestic freight operations.
Excellent leadership, negotiation, and project management skills.
Proficient in supply chain software and tools (ERP, WMS, TMS); NetSuite experience is a plus.
Willingness and ability to travel within the U.S. to visit vendors, distribution centers, and key partners.
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field; MBA or APICS/CSCP certification preferred.
