Legal Administrative Assistant

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized Legal Administrative Assistant to support attorneys with daily administrative and operational tasks. This role helps ensure the legal team can focus on billable work by managing scheduling, document preparation, communication, and coordination tasks.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and comfortable handling multiple administrative responsibilities while maintaining accuracy and professionalism.
Responsibilities:
Manage attorney calendars, including scheduling meetings, hearings, and deadlines
Prepare, format, and organize legal documents and correspondence
Monitor and manage email inboxes, ensuring timely responses and follow-ups
Communicate with clients to provide status updates and coordinate information requests
File documents with courts or relevant agencies when required
Coordinate travel arrangements, meetings, and internal scheduling needs
Maintain organized digital files and documentation
Support general administrative tasks to ensure smooth daily operations
Requirements:
Prior experience in administrative support, legal administration, or executive assistance
Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish
Strong organizational and time management skills
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
High attention to detail when preparing documents and managing records
Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
Comfortable handling confidential and sensitive information
Proficiency with common office tools such as email, calendars, and document formatting software
Experience working with law firms or legal professionals preferred
Familiarity with legal document formatting or court filing processes preferred
Experience supporting attorneys or legal teams in a remote environment preferred
