Job Summary:

We are seeking a Social Media Content & Community Specialist to own and execute day-to-day organic presence across key community-driven platforms including Reddit, LinkedIn, Facebook Groups, and blog channels. This role focuses on building authentic engagement, strengthening brand voice consistency, and turning community interaction into long-term brand equity.

The ideal candidate is a strong writer with a deep understanding of platform nuance, community culture, and organic engagement strategies. This role collaborates closely with Marketing, Social, and Customer Experience teams to ensure content aligns with broader campaign themes and product initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Organic Content Creation & Publishing

    • Manage a consistent weekly posting cadence across Reddit, LinkedIn, Facebook Groups, Blog, and related organic channels

    • Adapt messaging and tone to fit each platform’s audience and culture

    • Create both short-form and long-form content including educational posts, tutorials, storytelling, FAQs, and community features

    • Repurpose user-generated content, testimonials, influencer content, and customer insights into structured platform-ready posts

    • Draft blog content incorporating basic SEO best practices including keyword awareness and search intent

    • Develop scalable, recurring content formats that can be templated and reused

  • Community Engagement & Relationship Building

    • Maintain an active, brand-aligned presence in comments and discussions

    • Spark conversations and encourage participation within owned and external community spaces

    • Identify relevant community groups for brand visibility and coordinate posting efforts

    • Surface recurring customer questions, objections, and trends to internal teams

    • Support community programming tied to product launches, campaigns, and seasonal initiatives

  • Content Planning & Performance Tracking

    • Own and maintain the organic content calendar within the project management system

    • Coordinate approvals with marketing and leadership as needed

    • Track post performance and identify trends, engagement opportunities, and underperforming content

    • Maintain KPI tracking and analytics reporting across organic channels

  • SEO & Content Optimization

    • Incorporate search intent and keyword awareness into blog and long-form content

    • Support evergreen content creation and internal linking strategy

    • Identify recurring customer search themes related to product education

    • Collaborate with e-commerce and copywriting teams to maintain and optimize blog content

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in organic social media, community content, or content marketing

  • Strong copywriting skills across short-form and long-form content

  • Experience managing brand voice across multiple organic platforms

  • Demonstrated ability to drive engagement and conversation, not just publish content

  • Basic understanding of SEO principles including keywords, search intent, and evergreen strategy

  • Familiarity with Reddit culture and platform etiquette

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage a multi-channel calendar independently

  • Comfortable representing a brand voice publicly and consistently

  • Proficiency using AI tools such as ChatGPT or similar platforms for content support

  • Experience in DTC, lifestyle, or consumer brands is a plus

  • Canva or light visual content creation skills is a plus

  • Experience with newsletter or Substack-style platforms is a plus

  • Familiarity with customer experience workflows is a plus
